Role Summary
The main responsibility of the Rental Manager is to manage the rental operations and fleet in order to meet customer demands of flexibility, normally in terms of contract durations shorter than alternative solutions. This is achieved by securing that rental is an integrated part of the Scania offering and that it contributes to the sales of Scania vehicles and services.

Job Responsibilities
- Set and execute Rental strategies – Develop, set and execute strategies, business and market plans to fulfil set targets, securing resources needed for this.
- Rental Business Development – Develop the Rental Business enabling continuous improvements.
- Manage Rental Operations – Manage and control the entire rental fleet on a day-to-day basis.
- Managing improvement work according to the Scania Way (SRS) - Set agenda for standardized work methods and improvement activities and manage resources within the same department
- University education in Sales or equivalent
- Prior experience in rental operations preferably in the commercial vehicle industry
- Managerial experience
- Sales management experience
- High level of analytical, innovation and business skills
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle market / industry
- Effective sales, negotiation and influencing skills
- Knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and manage key relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
- Ability to take initiative and work under pressure
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Valid driving licence (Code 14)
