Junior Payroll Officer

Our organization, a multi-award-winning financial services provider established in 2010, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Officer to support our Payroll team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to manage time effectively, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a customer-focused approach while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Input and reconcile payroll data, ensure salary payments are timely and accurate.

• Employee Records Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate personnel information.

• Leave & ESS Management: Administer leave accurately and support the functionality of our Employee Self-Service platform.

• Employee Support: Respond to payroll-related queries with professionalism and efficiency.

• Benefits Administration: Manage updates and assist with queries related to medical aid, group life, and health insurance.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have achieved a bachelors pass in matric / grade 12

• Relevant qualification in finance / payroll essential

• Prior payroll experience and knowledge of BCEA and SARS regulations preferred

• Must have intermediate to advances skills in Excel
