Job Overview
The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, personnel, or company vehicles in accordance with company policies and road safety regulations. This role plays a key part in supporting business operations by ensuring that deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule. The Driver must maintain a high standard of vehicle care, perform daily vehicle checks, and report any issues promptly to ensure roadworthiness and compliance. In addition, the role requires adherence to all relevant Company policies, including the Integrity & Anti-Bribery Code, Conflict of Interest Policy, and S.H.E. (Safety, Health, and Environment) requirements. The Driver is expected to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks responsibly and to report any deviations or incidents to their superior without delay. Professional conduct, reliability, and a strong safety-first mindset are essential for success in this position.

Main Job Activities:
Delivery and Collections
- Payments and documents collected from and delivered to customers timeously and efficiently.
- Handed to relevant staff, Management to be informed immediately task cannot be completed
- Liaise with relevant staff members before embarking on a task to ensure maximum number of tasks are
- Performed efficiently
- Ensure that the most efficient and safe routes are used
- Ensure that vehicles are kept in good condition reporting faults and maintenance or service needs
- Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed
- Maintain accurate records of journeys completed by means of using a logbook, delivery schedule
- As a company representative ensure that all customer interactions are professional
- Ensure that vehicles are always kept clean
- All customer queries and complaints to be handled professionally and referred to relevant management
- Ensure that company name is not brought into disrepute
- Alert management of any danger, delays or problems encountered when on the road
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to regarding cheque and cash collection
- All cheque and cash collected to be counted and signed for
- Ensure accident, damage and traffic offence free driving
- Ensure that car policies, accident policies and driver policies are understood and adhered to.
- Ensure that all safety procedures and legal requirements are adhered to
- Minimum Grade 12
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 14)
- Minimum of 2 years in driving position
- Integrity

- Self-driven and resilient
- Ability to cope with pressure
