Position Summary:
Under general direction from the Catering Services Manager, responsible for assisting in the coordination of the Banquet events and set-up staff to ensure that all banquets, meeting, etc. provide high levels of member/guest service and satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Access to Sensitive Areas: Access to F&B storage areas.
Signatory Authority: None.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required unless waived by Human Resources Management. Six (6) months work experience in Food & Beverage preferred. Demonstrated ability to grasp and prioritize assigned tasks in a timely manner. Excellent communication and guest service skills required. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods, walk and sit; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, and have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be exposed to cigarette smoke. The work environment is noisy and employee will work indoors and outdoors; work performed in areas which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and dimly lit, and maneuver outside in temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays

Position Summary:
Under general direction from the Catering Services Manager, responsible for assisting in the coordination of the Banquet events and set-up staff to ensure that all banquets, meeting, etc. provide high levels of member/guest service and satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading banquet staff members as directed by the Catering Manager.
- Assisting with training banquet staff members.
- Planning and executing dining events, menus, and beverage service.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction when handling guest complaints.
- Working with catering manager, supervisor, chefs, catering staff and event planning team.
- Set up and clean up the event center, PDR, and arranging tables as needed upon client layout approvals
- Must be detail oriented with set ups, food presentations and cleanliness.
- Maintaining equipment and alcohol inventories on a weekly or biweekly basis.
- Monitor events and ensure prompt, courteous food and beverage service throughout banquet by assigning banquet servers to designated areas
- Anticipate guest needs and observes guest throughout function and respond immediately to any additional requests.
- Inspecting function rooms and equipment prior to function for cleanliness and proper inventory set up.
- Responding to operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s)
- Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers and management; notifying management of all matters of significance
- Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Assures all rooms are set up as specified on time
- Works with the Sales and Catering Department to facilitate events
- Participates in set up, serving, etc.
- Assist in taking the bar inventory and updating any changes to that inventory under the direction of Catering Manager.
- When closing the night shift, secure and store all liquor, lock liquor cage and wine storage, as well as storage rooms.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service principles including applicable health and sanitation standards.
- Knowledge of the proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, refrigeration units, slivers, knives, and dish machines.
- Knowledge of basic accounting, math, and record keeping practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
- Knowledge of budget and planning.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of public relations and customer service.
- Knowledge of computer utilization in marketing/business operations.
- Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Skill in supervising, training, and evaluating assigned staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines.
- Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment.
