  • Engage the client for a scoping session to further elaborate and clarify the need.
  • Conduct research on the need/product received to identify or establish best practices within the security industry.
  • Define and document the initiative outcomes or objectives.
  • Establish a working group contained of subject matters experts. Schedule sessions with the working group to obtain information to inform the curriculum development.
  • Consult internal and external key stakeholders to ensure that the developed security learning and development programmes meet the industry/organisational needs and/or compliance requirements
  • Design the framework of the curriculum based on information received from the working group. Consult client for input and design sign off.
  • Develop learning material as per the signed of design framework. Test the draft curricula with working group or smaller group.
  • Present final product to client for input and final sign off.
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer workshops to orientate Organisation Security Group Learning and Development Practitioners with newly developed learning and development programmes and methodologies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programmes implemented in the organisation Security Group.

About The Employer

  • Minimum B degree OR equivalent with specialisation in a security environment
  • National Diploma or equivalent in specific Human Resource Development/ Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Security Learning and development specifically within the curriculum development environment
