Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Specialist to lead their Internal Talent & Development function, combined with the responsibilities of a Registered Industrial Psychologist. This is a strategic, business-critical role-not an operational or administrative position. The successful candidate will shape, drive, and implement talent management initiatives that directly support executive-level business goals, with a focus on large-scale, safety-focused environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and shape talent assessment strategies and workforce development initiatives.
Oversee and implement psychometric and other assessments aligned with workforce planning and succession.
Design and drive programmes for leadership development, onboarding, retention, and mentorship.
Collaborate with executives and senior leaders to align talent strategies with organisational goals.
Integrate with Organisational Design and HR to improve team effectiveness and ways of working.
Use data and assessment results to identify talent gaps and organisational risks.
Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture and support employee wellness.
Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Industrial Psychology.
Registered Industrial Psychologist (HPCSA - Independent Practice).
5-7 years' experience in Industrial Psychology, Talent, or Organisational Design (mining or manufacturing sector preferred).
Strong data analytics, project management, and executive communication skills
