Job Advert Summary

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth front desk and accounting operations during overnight hours while delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties include assisting guests with late-night requests, processing check-ins and reservations, balancing financial records, and acting as the primary liaison between guests and the hotel throughout the night.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, well-spoken, and presentable demeanor.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA).
  • Solid mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Services & Front Desk Operations

  • Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide guests with necessary information to enhance their stay.
  • Handle late-night reservations, last-minute bookings, and walk-ins.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and manage reservations.
  • Schedule wake-up calls and coordinate next-day reservations.

Financial & Audit Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform nightly audits.
  • Verify and reconcile daily transactions, invoices, and room charges.
  • Process guest bills, refunds, and reservation adjustments.
  • Ensure all accounts are balanced and properly documented.
  • Prepare financial and operational reports for management review.
  • Complete End of Day (EOD) procedures and ensure all system functions run successfully.
  • Balance cash drawers and log receipts accurately.

Administrative & Security Support

  • Prepare and distribute employee checks as needed.
  • Monitor hotel security by assisting the security team with property patrols.
  • Summarize nightly operations and highlight any follow-up tasks for management.
  • Verify that all EOD tasks have been completed by other departments.
