This Position Reports To

Warehouse/Internal Logistic Manager

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will strengthen our logistics team within the Smart Buildings division at our Heidelberg location. Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading, coordinating, and motivating a logistics team
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable occupational safety regulations and standards
• Guaranteeing smooth and cost-effective logistical operations
• Ensuring the punctuality of deliveries
• Acting as an interface between supervisors and other teams or departments within ABB
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• You have a relevant professional qualification with additional training (e.g., as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, industrial clerk, technician, business economist, industrial or logistics specialist, or similar)
• Initial years of experience in a production or logistics environment as well as first leadership experience are desirable
• Knowledge of SAP/WM or EWM and MS Office is an advantage
• You are characterized by a team-oriented, solution-driven working style and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• In your daily work, you are always problem-solving oriented and demonstrate a hands-on mentality while keeping an eye on your time management
• You have very good verbal and written communication skills in German and good English proficiency
