What you'll do:

As Regional Marketing Manager, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the public perception of multiple broadcast brands while driving measurable business outcomes. Your day-to-day activities will involve crafting strategic marketing plans tailored to each region's unique audience profile; orchestrating complex campaigns across various channels; collaborating with internal teams such as sales, programming, digital content creators; liaising with external agencies; analysing campaign data for reporting purposes; managing budgets; mentoring your team; supporting live events; and championing best practices in brand management. Success in this position requires not only technical proficiency but also exceptional interpersonal skills-enabling you to build consensus among stakeholders while maintaining focus on organisational goals.   • Develop comprehensive annual marketing plans for each regional station and digital news platform, ensuring alignment with audience growth and revenue objectives.
  • Plan, brief, execute, and oversee multi-channel campaigns across digital, on-air, event, and social media platforms to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency by aligning all creative elements with corporate identity guidelines while resonating with diverse target audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, programming, digital content teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of marketing priorities.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, media vendors, and promotional partners to guarantee timely delivery of campaign assets within budget constraints.
  • Generate detailed post-campaign reports using analytics tools to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement of future initiatives.
  • Lead budgeting processes for the regional marketing team by monitoring expenditure forecasts, approving spend, and driving financial efficiency in support of business targets.
  • Mentor, develop, and motivate a team of marketing specialists by managing performance reviews, promoting skills development programmes, and implementing succession planning initiatives.
  • Support integrated brand activations and events by ensuring effective campaign integration from concept through execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or business management is required; an Honours degree or postgraduate diploma in digital marketing or media buying would be advantageous.
  • At least 5-8 years' experience in a marketing role with proven track record executing successful multi-channel campaigns-including 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity overseeing teams or projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in campaign planning, brand management principles, stakeholder engagement techniques, and agency/vendor relationship management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the media landscape-particularly within broadcasting-and familiarity with analytics tools such as RAMS for audience measurement.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital platforms including content planning strategies and paid media execution across web/social/mobile environments.
  • Proficiency in tracking campaign performance metrics; generating insightful reports; optimising tactics based on data-driven recommendations; strong copywriting abilities are essential.
  • Exceptional project management skills demonstrated through effective timeline management, resource allocation decisions, deliverable tracking systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), and cross-team coordination efforts.
  • Sound financial acumen evidenced by experience leading budgeting processes for marketing functions-monitoring spend against forecasts while identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences-from internal teams to senior leadership presentations-and capable of producing clear briefs/reports/presentations as needed.
