As an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor and operational support to business leaders and teams across the company. Youll drive key people initiatives, support organizational development, and play a critical role in strengthening company culture and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Support

  • Partner with department leads to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational structure.
  • Analyze people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and attract top talent.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience aligned with our values.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, helping to reinforce core values across teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person engagement activities.

Learning & Development

  • Identify team and individual training needs in collaboration with leaders.
  • Coordinate learning opportunities that support skill-building and career growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support the continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations and performance conversations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field (Honours degree advantageous).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a generalist or business partner HR role, preferably in a remote or digital environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across levels.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Work Requirements

  • 100% Remote (Work from Home)
  • Must be available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST
  • Required:
    • Personal computer and monitors
    • High-speed internet
    • Quiet and professional home office
    • Backup power supply (if applicable)
