This role is expected to take and contribute to the necessary HR actions and initiatives related to ensuring support to the growth of our African organization.
This role would be supporting Africa BU (South Africa, Southern African countries, West & Central Africa, East Africa).

HR Business Partner Africa (m/f/d)
This role is expected to take and contribute to the necessary HR actions and initiatives related to ensuring support to the growth of our African organization.
This role would be supporting Africa BU (South Africa, Southern African countries, West & Central Africa, East Africa).
Responsibilities
- Strategically align HR practices with business goals and support daily HR operations, including country-specific needs
- Manage all aspects of staffing, from building new international teams and addressing understaffing to handling disputes, terminations, and disciplinary actions
- Contribute to talent initiatives, encompassing acquisition, development, performance management cycles, and employee engagement activities
- Participate in key HR projects, focusing on workforce planning, training programs, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
- Provide guidance on HR policy and procedure administration, ensuring fair and respectful employee treatment
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with local labor laws, payroll administration, and industry-specific safety and regulatory standards
- Support HR-related legal processes at a non-lawyer level and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture across all environments
- Drive change management as a solution ambassador, overseeing process improvement, organizational design, realignment, and managing external consultants and contingent workers in Africa
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role (HR Manager, HRBP)
- Experience in the agrochemicals/biological or similar industry is of advantage
- Sound HR knowledge and skills and proven ability to apply them in diverse situations
