We have an amazing opportunity for a Content Specialist to join our Internal Marketing and Communications Team based in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

You Bring

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in content marketing, internal communications or multimedia campaign conceptualisation
  • Valid driver’s license

A Bonus To Have

  • Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related

What You’ll Do For The Brand

  • Conceptualise and develop multimedia content ideas for internal and recruitment campaigns
  • Generate fresh, engaging video concepts for internal screen displays, digital campaigns, and social media
  • Ensure content across office display screens aligns with broader brand messaging and campaigns
  • Support recruitment marketing with storytelling concepts that spotlight culture, purpose, and people
  • Brainstorm creative content ideas for social media campaigns with a strong employer brand focus
  • Review and refine internal and external copy to ensure it’s engaging, clear, and on brand
  • Collaborate with videographers, designers, and the marketing team to bring content to life across channels
  • Manage and contribute to editorial calendars to ensure content is delivered on time and in full
  • Research current multimedia, social and campaign trends, and adapt content accordingly
  • Maintain brand tone and consistency across all communication touchpoints
  • Participate in content audits and content performance reviews to inform future improvements
  • Monitor campaign success through analytics and provide actionable insights

  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and visually
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Open to travel between offices if needed
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with video production processes and content planning is advantageous
  • Understanding of internal communications and the employer branding landscape
