We are looking for an experienced and driven Financial Manager to join our team and take full responsibility for the accounting function within our Lucky Star Marketing division. This role is key in ensuring compliance, reporting accuracy, and strong internal control while contributing to the strategic success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full accounting function, including general ledger, fixed assets, creditors, tax, and statutory reporting.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review financial packs for internal and external audits, resolving any audit findings.
- Oversee cash flow management, including weekly and long-term forecasting.
- Manage and review statutory returns, VAT submissions, and tax calculations.
- Monitor and support BBBEE and insurance processes, including reporting and audits.
- Lead and develop the finance team through performance management, coaching, and training.
- Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including KPIs and solvency analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualification: CA (SA)
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Finance Manager in a JSE listed company
- Team Management: Proven experience managing a finance team
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of IFRS, Tax, and VAT
- Experience in financial consolidations
- SAP experience (FI, CO, MM & SD) is advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
