Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate is essential
- It's essential to have a Nursing Diploma/Degree in General Nursing
- Certificates in Audiology, Spirometry and Vision Screening are essential
- A Dispensing qualification is required
- The successful incumbent must be registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
- A qualification in Primary Health Care is advantageous
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in general nursing
- Experience in an occupational health environment is essential
- Driver's license and own insured vehicle is essential
- Proficiency in Office 365
- Provide a comprehensive nursing service to patients and refer when necessary.
- Carry out medical surveillance (including, but not limited to, audiometry, spirometry, vision testing and physical examination).
- Maintain and record accurate medical information.
- Assist with stock taking and inventory listing.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of internal audits to ensure the clinic remains compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
- General administrative duties.
- Ensure that all hygiene and infection control protocols are upheld.
- Comply with protocols and procedures relating to waste disposal, medicines, emergency equipment and confidentiality.
- Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback, and provides exceptional client service.
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client expectations are managed.
- Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge.
- Maintain professionalism and collaborate effectively in a corporate office environment.
