Basic Functions
This position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products. This position performs software design — typically across multiple systems; mentors more-junior members of the team; and talks to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- Be expert in development languages, including but not limited to: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2, SQL, Cyprus
- Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
- Strong research skills.
- Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development
- Knowledge of test-driven development
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Providing design input across a product
- Acting as an acknowledged 'go to' person on coding and technical issues
- Interfacing with other technical personnel and product owners to finalize requirements and estimations
- Completing complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issues
- Designing and working with complex data models
- Mentoring software developers with best practices and providing guidelines Keep abreast of new technology developments.
- Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
