The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the planning, deployment, and optimisation of retention journeys, campaign effectiveness, and alignment with business goals. The Retention Manager will collaborate closely with the Customer Experience and Engagement team, BET BA/BI, and product marketing teams to ensure high-quality player experiences across all stages while coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members.

You Bring
- 4-5 years of experience in the digital marketing industry (Customer and Engagement experience preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience with CRM platforms, communications platforms, Excel and reporting
- Minimum 2 years of team leadership/ mentorship
- A diploma preferably in Marketing, Communication or a digital marketing-related field
- Lead and mentor a team of Retention Marketing Specialists, ensuring campaign consistency, alignment with strategy, and timely execution.
- Serve as an escalation point for campaign delivery issues, coordination gaps, and performance concerns.
- Oversee weekly team meetings and catch-up meetings.
- Format the campaign retrospectives document and templates
- Arrange and host monthly team training sessions to conduct performance and learning.
- Unpack departmental KPI and goals into executable retention strategies for different players/audiences
- Recreate player journeys and experience for customer engagement and experience
- Assist with the onboarding of a CRM system
- Review and approve briefs and campaign plans from Retention Specialists, ensuring accuracy, timing, and alignment with lifecycle phase and segment.
- Guide testing methodologies (A/B, subject line, CTA, channel) and documentation of results for improvement.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Able to succeed in and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of CRM and retention marketing best practices and technologies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Collate and analyse reports to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
- Ensure all data, reports, and marketing materials are meticulously reviewed and error-free
- Deliver results despite obstacles, admit errors, and take corrective action proactively
- Strong verbal and written skills
