About The Role

We’re seeking a creative, organized, and upbeat Video Editor & Virtual Assistant to support a growing kids' content brand. If you love fun, silly songs, quirky visuals, and clean humor—and you’re just as confident organizing calendars as you are cutting reels—this might be your dream role.

You’ll be helping Sarah, a one-woman powerhouse behind a fast-growing YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok presence, best known for her fun approach to providing meaningful and positive content that brings joy to children (and nostalgic millennials) around the world. Her main audience on YouTube is kids ages 7-12.

This hybrid role blends YouTube video editing with virtual assistant tasks—perfect for someone who’s both creatively driven and operationally sharp.

What You’ll Do

Video Editing (Primary - 70%)

  • Edit 2-4 long-form YouTube videos per month (~8-12 mins each)
  • Add fun cuts, quirky sound effects, images/gifs/graphics, playful text
  • Maintain brand tone: silly, wholesome, energetic
  • Collaborate with Sarah on visual storytelling and post-production polish

Virtual Assistance (Secondary - 30%)

  • Manage content calendar and scheduling
  • Create simple branded graphics in Canva
  • Assist with social media/music marketing ideas
  • Handle backend admin (e.g. song registrations with BMI, MLC)
  • Organize and manage digital files via Google Drive

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of video editing experience (YouTube editing preferred)
  • Strong portfolio of engaging, upbeat, or family-friendly content
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Calendar)
  • Canva experience (or willingness to learn)
  • Love for children’s media and uplifting content
  • Organized, self-starting, and detail-oriented
  • A sense of humor and a feel for Sarah’s quirky brand

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with solo creators or small creative teams
  • Knowledge of music licensing or song registration workflows
  • A background in or passion for educational or musical content

Perks & Details

  • Remote position — work from anywhere in Latin America or South Africa
  • Flexible hours that align with U.S. time zones
  • Weekly collaboration with a mission-driven, creative founder
  • Opportunities to grow your hours and impact as the channel scales
