The Bid Lead plays a pivotal role in driving high-quality, compelling proposals that win business in the UK market. Working closely with Sales, Account Management, and Solution Teams, the Bid Lead owns the end-to-end bid lifecycle—from qualification through to contract award. This includes interpreting customer requirements, shaping value propositions, and ensuring proposals are competitive, compliant, and aligned with market expectations. Strong bid writing skills are essential to craft persuasive narratives that resonate with UK-based clients.

- Lead the planning, coordination, and submission of PQQs, RFPs, and formal bids.
- Interpret and respond to bid documentation with clarity and strategic insight.
- Write and edit high-quality bid content tailored to UK client expectations.
- Maintain and evolve a central bid library, including case studies, CVs, and boilerplate content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, legal, finance) to gather inputs and validate solutions.
- Own the bid qualification (go/no-go) process and ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Review and refine commercial models and pricing sheets to ensure completeness and competitiveness.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the bid process.
- Prepare executive summaries and management overviews that clearly articulate win themes.
- Manage bid budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Conduct post-submission reviews and lead lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Support multiple concurrent bids with varying complexity and timelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in bid writing and proposal development

- tSales or project management trainin
- sExceptional written communication and storytelling skill
- sStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilitie
- sHigh attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadline
- sCommercial acumen and understanding of pricing strategie
- sProficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Word and PowerPoin
- tAbility to manage multiple bids simultaneously with minimal supervisio
- nResilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmen
- eDemonstrated success in leading and writing winning bids for IT consulting or professional service
- sExperience working with UK-based clients or within UK public/private sector framework
- sFamiliarity with commercial, legal, and delivery aspects of complex service offering
- sExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating inputs from diverse stakeholder
