A family is looking for an ECD TUTOR for their 2 children

Area: Moot, Waverley
Children’s Ages: 4 year old (Boy) and 3 year old (Girl)
Working hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 12:00

Duties: Plan and facilitating age-appropriate, play-based learning activities. Teaching foundational concepts such as numbers, letters, shapes, and colours, while also encouraging language development through daily reading and conversation. Incorporate music, movement, art, and sensory play to develop fine and gross motor skills, and fosters independence through simple routines. Social-emotional growth is supported by guiding children in sharing, turn-taking, and basic conflict resolution. Maintain a calm, nurturing environment, monitors developmental progress, and communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s learning journey.
Special Requirements: Female, Afrikaans speaking, young and especially good with children.
Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
Salary: R8000pm (Gross, before deductions)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
