We design for the shapeshifters and deliver products and services that make us incredibly proud of people that make it happen We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in data science, a strong foundation in statistical modelling, and hands-on experience with SAS. Proficiency in Python and R is a plus, along with exposure to Big Data technologies and tools Are you someone who can:
  • Assist in the development and deployment of predictive models using SAS and other statistical tools.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
  • Clean, transform, and validate data for analysis and modelling.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Support the implementation of machine learning models in production environments.
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI.
You will be an ideal candidate if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Honours in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a data science or analytics role.
  • Strong background in SAS for data manipulation and modelling.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modelling techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
  • Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong Exposure to Big Data technologies such as:
    • Hadoop
    • Teradata
    • etc
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI would be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of MLOps and model deployment practices.
