As a key member of our administrative backbone, you will handle various HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance documentation, employee record-keeping, and general HR support across our locations. Location: Remote (LATAM or South Africa)
Compensation
- LATAM: $1,400-$1,700 USD/month
- South Africa: $1,200-$1,600 USD/month
Schedule: Full-time | Overlap with Canadian business hours required

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support our growing operations team. As a key member of our administrative backbone, you will handle various HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance documentation, employee record-keeping, and general HR support across our locations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and liaising with hiring managers
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and exits as well as ongoing engagement management.
- Maintain and organize compliance-related documents, including contracts, certifications, and training records
- Track employee performance reviews and coordinate reminders for performance appraisals
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, etc.)
- Be a point of contact for internal HR-related queries and provide timely support to the team
- Assist with HR reporting and help implement process improvements across the department
- Attend weekly meetings operations meetings online
- 2+ years of experience in an HR support or administrative role
- Solid understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Proficient with HRIS systems and cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace/ Google Suites, Excel, Trello or Asana)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with North American teams is a plus
