What You’ll Do:

• Own all South African statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance, including VAT filings and transfer pricing
• Maintain up-to-date contracts and Exchange Control agreements for intercompany transactions
• Prepare monthly intercompany recharges, invoices, reconciliations, and settlement proposals
• Ensure compliance with SARS and Reserve Bank requirements, including accurate transaction documentation (e.g., SAD 500s)
• Liaise with local advisors for annual transfer pricing filings and audits
• Prepare trial balances and support external audits, particularly on intercompany matters
• Ensure accurate application of the global transfer pricing policy
• Coordinate local stock management and support other finance-related tasks as needed
  
  

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualified Accountant with of hands-on accounting experience
• Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing financial documents
• Proven knowledge of IFRS, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency transactions
• Familiarity with SARS (South African tax), VAT returns, and Reserve Bank regulations
• Experience in stock management, including global inventory handling
• Proficient in Excel (sophisticated skills required); Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
• Experience with SAP or Dynamics is a bonus, not crucial
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional personality
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently across all levels
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Travel or Marine industries is an advantage
