- Own all South African statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance, including VAT filings and transfer pricing
- Maintain up-to-date contracts and Exchange Control agreements for intercompany transactions
- Prepare monthly intercompany recharges, invoices, reconciliations, and settlement proposals
- Ensure compliance with SARS and Reserve Bank requirements, including accurate transaction documentation (e.g., SAD 500s)
- Liaise with local advisors for annual transfer pricing filings and audits
- Prepare trial balances and support external audits, particularly on intercompany matters
- Ensure accurate application of the global transfer pricing policy
- Coordinate local stock management and support other finance-related tasks as needed
- Qualified Accountant with of hands-on accounting experience
- Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing financial documents
- Proven knowledge of IFRS, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency transactions
- Familiarity with SARS (South African tax), VAT returns, and Reserve Bank regulations
- Experience in stock management, including global inventory handling
- Proficient in Excel (sophisticated skills required); Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
- Experience with SAP or Dynamics is a bonus, not crucial
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional personality
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently across all levels
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Travel or Marine industries is an advantage
