Software Testing Analyst

Are you ready to break away from boring testing roles and work on products that connect the physical and digital world? We are looking for Software Testing Analysts to join the team!

Location: Pretoria (Ashlea Gardens). Hybrid working with 2 days work-from-home. Full-time in-office during the first 6-month probation period.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 – 5 years of manual testing experience required, focus on manual and mobile app testing (Android/iOS)
• Interest in hardware integration and firmware testing is beneficial
• Formal testing qualification for example ISTQB/ISEB
• Basic Java/JavaScript understanding preferred
• Strong communication skills (clear spoken English is essential for US client interactions)
• Curious, calm under pressure, and eager to grow beyond a basic testing role

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manually test cutting-edge mobile apps and connected hardware devices (iOS, Android, Bluetooth)
• Work alongside engineers and QA leads to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability
• Execute thorough test cycles, from requirements testing to post-deployment validation
• Assist with exploratory and edge-case testing (e.g. OS updates, device compatibility)
• Create test cases and manage documentation using Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence
