An exciting new opportunity exists for an Ecommerce Merchandising & Content Facilitator to join the Truworths Marketing team. You will work across all brands and websites to manage the day-to-day customer experience on the websites in order to maximize conversions. You will also be required to do analysis on website performance and customer journeys to identify opportunities to improve the online customer experience, briefing required changes and working with the developers to implement these changesKey Responsibilities
- Product Content Management: You'll be responsible for all product descriptions on our websites. This means managing a seamless process for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content for accuracy, brand alignment, and timely activation. You'll also ensure descriptions are optimized for search engines, Google Merchant Center, and AI agents.
- Website Metadata Management: You'll be responsible for all metadata across our websites. This includes regularly conducting thorough keyword research and leveraging AI tools to generate highly optimized metadata that enhances our online visibility and search performance.
- Navigation & User Experience Optimization: Manage and optimize website navigation, including facets, filters, product boosting and burying, and other elements to create an intuitive user experience.
- Web content configuration: You'll be responsible for setting up and managing website content using our Content Management System (CMS). This includes not only loading content but also testing and checking for best practices related to site speed and mobile optimization to ensure a seamless and high-performing user experience.
- Collaborative Content Development: You’ll work closely with our digital designers and developers on e-commerce content components, ensuring they stay current with best practices and global trends.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Drive conversion rate improvements through strategic A/B testing on our e-commerce website.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification:
o Relevant Marketing Qualification Experience / Knowledge
Experience:
o Minimum 2 years’ ecommerce marketing experience, ideally in a fashion or lifestyle environment
o Experience working in a CMS, setting up and publishing digital content

Beneficial
o Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
o Experience using the Admin Console in Oracle Commerce Cloud
o Basic html knowledge
o Experience running A/B tests o Experience in applying dynamic content rules and personalisation of web experiences
o Experience with email marketing platforms
o Experience in Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SEM Rush etc.
