An opportunity exists for an exceptional Boys Senior Prep Afrikaans Teacherto join the Boys Prep School from 1 January 2026.

Duties (not an exhaustive list):

  • Teach Afrikaans (grade 6 - 7)
  • Ensure that lessons impart a love and competence in Afrikaans
  • Plan and teach interesting and engaging Afrikaans lessons
  • Participate in extracurricular activities as required, including Saturday sports fixtures
  • Promotion of St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
  • Teach according to St Peter's Schools Best Practice pedagogy


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching Afrikaans
  • SACE Registration
  • The ability to teach Boys' sports would be an advantage
