To manage the daily scheduling, planning, controlling, monitoring & tracking of projects to provide effective integrated project services to the TPT Capital Expenditure Programme
Ensuring that project cost and schedule tools are fully utilised and maintained to assist project managers to measure, forecast and track project related work.
Generate and compile suitable reports to effectively manage schedule, costs, change, risk and opportunity for each project.Position OutputsProvide expert planning services in support of each project to meet the project objectives in line with the PLP and controls framework.
Prepare detailed tracking schedules, bar charts, network diagrams, resource loading graphs and critical path analysis for projects using approved software.
Prepare and present detailed monthly status report
Assist project managers on their projects in terms of planning functions associated with activities under their function in support of achieving the weekly and monthly targets.
Ensuring all documentation is in place to ensure compliance to control frameworks.
Loading of information on SAP and tracking of contract payments.
Responsible for the maintenance of appropriate project change control registers to enable the tracking of trends and pending changes.
Quantify and assess changes by way of impacts to schedule, cost and risk.
Co-ordinate and minute weekly/monthly project meetings.
Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of project cost & schedule reports in terms of budget/baseline, commitments, expenditure/progress and forecasts.

Qualifications and ExperienceQualifications
- Relevant diploma Minimum Years Relevant Experience:
- 3 years' experience as a planner in a multi-disciplinary project environmental
- Accreditation as a Project Scheduling Professional (PSP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred. Or ROC Relevant qualification (NQF 5) Min 8 years’ experience relevant to the position applied for.Competencies
- Understanding of sequencing of the technical aspects of infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of Primavera and SAP
- Basic knowledge of project management principles
