We’re looking for a Google Search Ads Manager / PPC Specialist to join our performance media division, working across global consumer brands in partnership with a leading UK agency. This is a hands-on execution role perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, experience in performance marketing, and a track record of managing multiple Google ads accounts.
You’ll play a crucial role in executing, optimising, and reporting on high-performing Google search campaigns, with the opportunity to deepen your platform expertise through exposure to multiple brands, international markets, and advanced tools.
Role overview
This is an in-platform, execution-focused role within the performance team. You will manage the day-to-day of Google search campaigns from build and pacing to optimisation and reporting across multiple clients. You’ll work alongside internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns are structured correctly, deliver on KPIs, and are supported by robust performance insights.
This role is not responsible for high-level media planning or strategy, but you will contribute to testing roadmaps, campaign retrospectives, and optimisation direction.
Key responsibilities campaign setup and execution
Build and launch campaigns in Google ads (search campaigns)
Ensure correct structure, keyword match types, budgets, targeting, and tracking (UTMs, conversion tracking)
Collaborate with content and account teams to ensure ad copy and creative are aligned with campaign objectives
Performance monitoring and optimisation
Monitor campaign delivery and pacing daily
Optimise budgets, bids, audiences, and keyword strategies to improve ROAS, CPA, CTR, etc.
Run A/B tests and contribute to testing roadmaps and RTBs
Reporting and insights
Provide weekly reports and monthly reports as well as post-campaign analysis (PCAs)
Deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on performance data
Use platforms like Looker Studio and Squared.io to streamline monitoring and insights (where required)
Collaboration and delivery
Attend internal and client meetings
Align on campaign goals, creative timelines, and data tracking
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across performance, content, and strategy
What we’re looking for
2–4 years hands-on Google ads campaign management experience (agency preferred)
Google ads search certification (required)
Familiar with performance metrics: ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, and optimising toward them
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns/accounts at once
Confident with reporting and performance analysis
Experience with Looker Studio and/or Squared.io a plus
Nice to have
Exposure to international or e-commerce brands
Familiarity with cross-channel reporting or attribution
Experience using project tools like Asana and Slack
Google Tag Manager or GA4 experience
