HR Administrator

Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel is looking for a Temporary HR Administrator to support our team a few days a week while we recruit for a Senior HR Business Partner.
In this role, you'll be the backbone of our HR operations — ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our people can do their best work. You'll provide hands-on support across a range of HR functions, from onboarding and payroll to employee queries and compliance.
What you'll be doing:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR filesAssist with recruitment administration and onboarding of new team members
Handle HR documentation (contracts, onboarding paperwork, letters, induction packs)
Support payroll inputs and leave tracking
Respond to employee queries and provide day-to-day HR assistance
Coordinate training sessions, wellness initiatives, and employee benefit administration
Ensure HR processes are compliant and well-documented
What we're looking for:
Proven administrative experience (HR admin experience a bonus)Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Organized, responsive, and proactive – you like to make things happen
