Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction

Conduct regular account reviews and site visits

Identify growth opportunities through up-selling, cross-selling, and product specification

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues

Develop and present data-driven insights and reports to support sales and business planning

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, project progress, and forecasts

Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and site visits

Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends, especially within the hardware and retail sectors

Oversee project specifications from inception to completion, particularly in hardware, electrical, and lighting applications

Matric (Grade 12) required

3 to 5 years’ experience in Key Account Management and/or Sales Management within the wholesale and retail sector

Proven sales experience in the hardware, electrical, or lighting industry is essential

Strong understanding of project-based sales processes and product specification

Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle

Willing and able to travel regularly, including overnight travel during weekdays

Comfortable working occasional overtime and every second Saturday, as well as attending customer events as needed

Excellent customer relationship management skills

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools

Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies
