Summary of Job
1.Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment , such as forklifts , racking , vehicles etc
2.Overseeing receiving , warehousing and dispatching functions of the warehouse
3.Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product and storage requirements and inventory management
4.Be involved in the purchasing and procuring of stock
5.Ensure the warehouse is holding sufficient stocks , taking in to account supplier lead times
6.Work closely with suppliers to ensure deliveries are done timeously , and if not , follow up with suppliers
7.Source new product lines and improve pricing on current line items
8. Ensure the warehouse is always packed to its optimum for receiving and dispatch
9. Ensure FIFO is being followed within the warehouse
10.Contribute to the creation and implementation of best warehouse practices to aid and improve operational performance
11.Ensure stock on hand at the warehouse and at the supplier is at the required level such that we can meet and fulfil customer orders
12.Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include future requirements
13. Ensure a clean , neat and tidy working environment

Qualifications & Experience
1.3 years + experience in a warehouse manager/warehouse supervisor role
2.3 years + experience in a buying/procurement role
3.Exceptionally good with analytics and forecasting
4.Ability to drive continuous improvement
5.Good IT skills , in particular excel spreadsheets
6.Strong decision making sills
