Stock Controller Food and Fresh Produce

Key responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate stock levels of all food items, including dry goods and fresh produce.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes.
Monitor and control stock movement and implement strict loss control measures.
Ensure accurate capturing of stock data on internal systems.
Understand and monitor food costing and margins.
Identify and report on wastage , implement measures to reduce stock losses.
Manage receiving and issuing procedures.
Liaise with suppliers and oversee deliveries for accuracy and quality.
Assist in compiling and maintaining accurate stock and costing reports.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient stockroom environment.
Requirements:
Minimum five years of experience in food stock control or food service management.
Strong knowledge of fresh produce handling and perishables management .
Proven understanding of costing , pricing, and gross profit calculations.
High attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
Ability to enforce systems and ensure strict control.
Computer literate with experience on stock or POS systems.
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and structure.
