Assistant Pharmacy Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To assist and support the Pharmacy Manager in ensuring an efficient and professional pharmaceutical service is provided to the hospital and public

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Lead and manage the people in the department
• Manage pharmaceutical stock (own, loan and consignment)
• To manage and mitigate departmental risks
• Manage and control departmental budgets / finances
• Deliver a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service
• Provide an out-patient pharmacy service
  
  

Required Education

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

B Pharm / BSc Pharm

Required Experience

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

1-2 years working as a pharmacist in a community or institutional/hospital pharmacy

Desired Experience

1-2 years supervisory experience in an institutional/hospital pharmacy
