Job Responsibilities
- Drivethe deployment of the internal system to ensure:
- Planning andScheduling of preventative maintenance schedules.
- Recordkeeping for any reactive and preventative work.
- Planning andscheduling of day-to-day repair work.
- Ensure AssetRegister of all Equipment.
- EnsureAccurate Depreciation of all Assets and other Equipment.
- Planningand delivering scheduled maintenance work and responding to breakdowns.
- Managingthe technical staff, composed of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled techniciansand labourers.
- Creatinga high performing team by assessing and proposing development plan.
- Managingbudgets and maintaining statistical and financial records.
- Ensuringcompliance with health and safety legislation.
- Creatingmaintenance procedures.
- Managingstocks of supplies and equipment and its forecast.
- Communication,liaison & planning with subcontractors.
- Shiftand 'on-call' work may be required (24-hour operation).
- Ensuresproject management teams and contractors successfully execute on allproject/preventative maintenance aspects including scope and budget.
- Managesproject resources accordingly within a budget(s).
- Negotiatescontracts with new vendors and suppliers.
- Implementsproactive risk management plans and assists in developing long-term contingencyplans.
- Provideincident report and technical faults root cause.
- Providestechnical expertise in emergency situations and develops and implementsbusiness continuity/ disaster recovery plans.
- Conductperiodical staff meetings that incorporate the use of safety and technicaltraining sessions, presenting material in a manner that fosters understandingand willingness to learn by the participants.
- Fosterand encourage teamwork among team members and associates.
- Effectivelycoordinate the activities of others in order to meet goals and objectives.
- Effectivelyschedule the work of others to complete operations, programs, or activities.
- Reportany defective materials in a timely manner in order to avoid any disruption inthe delivery of services.
- Conductinspections of all areas ensuring upkeep of good hygiene standards.
- Developscoaching, training and development plans for project/ work team within owntechnical/ project portfolio.
- Resolvesproject/ technical issues and management issues of substantive complexity/risk/ impact.
- Manageand control the assets history.
- Drivethe deployment of system at site and its day-to-day management afterward.
- Leadthe implementation of a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)system with the support of the Group HQ.
- Maintainon the day to day the system to stay live and compliant.
- Supportthe establishment of the yearly capex plan with regards to the renovation,maintenance and extension projects.
- Degreein Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,
- CertificationProject and operations
- 5+years related experience, knowledge of industry standards, compliancerequirements, best practice, cost management and performance analysis,Computerized Maintenance management system.
- SafetyKnowledge Position related knowledgeincluding health & safety, building codes, quality inspections, hazard& risk assessments.
- Abilityto define, apply and measure risk mitigating actions.
- OperationContracts Knowledge Understanding ofcontract negotiation/management techniques, subcontractors’ relationshipmanagement, excellent communication skills.
- ComputerSystems Knowledge Advanced knowledgeof/ability to use:
- CMMSand/or CAFM systems, business communication systems, business programs for wordprocessing, spreadsheet development, and presentation development,function-specific systems such as project management tools.
- ProjectManagement Knowledge.
- Hasideally a facility management background in charge the hard services.
