  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a social media management role.
  • Experience in the automotive industry a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong content creation skills (text, image, video).
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

1. Social media strategy development and implementation

1.1 Develop and implement social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.

1.2 Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, best practices, and algorithm updates.

1.3 Propose and implement new social media initiatives to increase brand awareness and engagement.

1.4 Manage social media accounts across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

2. Content creation and management

2.1 Create engaging and high-quality social media content, including text, images, videos, and stories, tailored to each platform's audience and best practices.

2.2 Manage the social media content calendar and ensure timely posting.

2.3 Use relevant hashtags, keywords, and other SEO strategies to optimise content reach and visibility.

2.4 Ensure agency respond to comments and messages from followers in a timely and professional manner.

2.5 Monitor social media mentions and manage online reputation.

3. Community management

3.1 Build and nurture online communities around Ford South Africa's brand.

3.2 Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster conversations.

3.3 Identify and address any negative feedback or crises promptly and effectively.

4. Social media advertising

4.1 Manage social media advertising campaigns, including ad creation and performance tracking

4.2 Optimise ad campaigns to reach target audiences and improve ROI

5. Analytics and reporting

5.1 Track social media KPIs and provide regular reports on campaign performance.

5.2 Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

5.3 Use analytics to inform future social media strategies.
