Position Summary

As the Sous Chef at our distinguished 4-star hotel, you will be a key player in the culinary team, assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. You will contribute to menu creation, supervise kitchen staff, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Support:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing all culinary activities.

Menu Collaboration

  • Help in developing and updating menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all food served, adhering to the hotel's standards.

Team Supervision

  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, promoting a positive and efficient working environment.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage food costs to optimize kitchen operations.

Health And Safety

  • Implement and maintain stringent hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Event Support

  • Work with the events team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for functions and special events.

Training And Development

  • Keep abreast of culinary trends, new ingredients, and techniques to continually enhance the hotel's dining offerings.
