Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Rewst to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency by designing, implementing, and optimising automated workflows across our service platforms. You will work closely with service desk teams, technical leads, and platform owners to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions using Rewst.

Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Rewst to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency by designing, implementing, and optimising automated workflows across our service platforms. You will work closely with service desk teams, technical leads, and platform owners to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions using Rewst.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Design & Implementation: Build and maintain Rewst workflows, forms, and crates to automate repetitive or labour-intensive tasks across systems such as Microsoft 365, ConnectWise, Datto RMM, Pax8, and SentinelOne
- Platform Integration: Configure and manage API integrations between Rewst and third-party platforms, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange
- Process Optimisation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, reduce manual effort, and improve service delivery times.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track workflow performance, success rates, and time savings. Use Rewst analytics to report on automation ROI and recommend improvements
- Documentation & Training: Maintain clear documentation for all workflows and provide training to internal teams on how to use Rewst tools effectively
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Rewst platform updates, participate in community forums (e.g. Cluck University, Discord), and contribute to the evolution of our automation strategy.
- Proven experience in a second-line support role within an MSP or enterprise IT environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including:
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Windows Server
- Office 365
- Experience with RMM platforms such as Datto, or N-able.
- Proven experience with Rewst or similar automation platforms (e.g. Zapier, Power Automate, Integromat).
- Exposure to or interest in automation platforms such as Rewst.
- Strong understanding of API integrations and workflow logic.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Jinja templating).
- Experience working in an MSP or IT service environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Rewst Certified (via Cluck University or equivalent).
- Familiar with working to SLA’s to meet both customer and contract requirements
- Working as part of a wider service delivery function.
