A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their NEWBORN daughter

Area: Greenside
Children’s Ages: 3.5 month old - Girl
Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 16:30
Duties: Provide loving and attentive care to our daughter throughout the day. Design and maintain a gentle, consistent daily routine that supports her emotional and developmental needs (feeding, naps, playtime, etc.). Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities, including tummy time, music, talking, reading, outdoor and sensory play. Ensure her environment is always safe, clean, and stimulating. Take her to baby playgroups and classes. Prepare bottles. Change nappies. Approach all interactions with patience, compassion, and mindfulness. Report back daily.
Special Requirements: A kind young woman with energy, warmth, and a genuine love for babies. Experience caring for infants (personal or professional). Creativity in play and activities. A calm, kind, and patient demeanor. Someone who is attentive to detail and responsive to a baby’s cues. Reliable, proactive, and organised. Willing to be an active part of our household and communicate openly with parents. Minimum a matric - undergraduate degree is advantageous. Drivers license.

• Preferred (but not required): Infant CPR/First Aid certification, Background in early childhood development or education. Previous au pair or nanny experience with infants.

Start Date and contract term: 18 August – permanent
Salary: R13 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km IF any driving is required (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
