ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. Nurture Helderberg is a leading physical rehabilitation hospital committed to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of therapeutic services to help patients recover from illness, injury, or surgery in a supportive environment.
REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Nurse qualification from a recognised nursing institution.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience (rehabilitation or acute care preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of nursing practices and the SANC code of conduct.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Valid South African ID or valid work permit (if not a South African citizen).
- Clear criminal record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care aligned with SANC standards.
- Develop and implement individualised nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Support the physical rehabilitation process to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- Foster a therapeutic and supportive environment for both patients and their families.
