Junior Project Manager

As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and execution of Solar PV projects. You will work closely with senior project managers, engineers, procurement, construction, and client to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to grow within the renewable energy sector and gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management roles,preferably in construction or renewable energy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and JobSys or similar project and cost control systems.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and change control processes is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management and execution of projects, strictly aligned with clientrequirements and agreed standards.
• Monitor construction activities in accordance with schedules agreed upon with the client.
• Facilitate coordination and communication between clients, consultants, and other externalstakeholders.
• Ensure the efficient and timely flow of information within the project team and externally.
• Manage all aspects of project safety in accordance with legal and company requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
• Ensure all projects adhere to governance and compliance frameworks and internal procedures.Identify, analyse, and manage project risks proactively.
• Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each meets its objectives.
• Develop and track project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Implement strict cost control measures and reporting using JobSys.
• Draft and motivate scope change requests and manage the change control process.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 standards.Coordinate cross-functional disciplines including engineering and procurement to ensure smoothproject execution.
• Collect, verify, and manage documentation from all relevant project disciplines.
