Job Purpose

Ensure that all administrative tasks which include movements of the containers, receiving, dispatching and handling, as well as communication between the client and management are completed in accordance with the Bidvest IL Standard Operating Procedures (QWI), and in a effective and timely manner keeping to all KPI targets.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications
Grade 12
Computer Literacy - MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)



Experience
2+ years experience in data capturing
2+ years experience in Warehouse Management System or general computer systems used for invetory management
General Administrative duties - Processing, Filing, electronic & telephonic communication


Key Responsibilities

Administration:
Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, copying and filling
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing
Perform data entry
Answer calls from customers regarding their inquiries
Execution of daily administrative activities to ensure meeting customer requirements and expectations :
1. Robbing & Repack
2. Devanning
3. Inventory Management
4. Receipts & dispatching of containers
5. Creating Items on the Warehouse management system
Parcicipate in stock takes



Liaison:
Liaison with Intermodal Service Provider, client Logistical team



Reporting:
Ensuring that Reports are completed and accurately sent out in accordance with client agreement
Compliance of monthly management reports (STATS)
Daily reporting to management of all operations, container movements, service failures Live client Call-off Dashboard monitoring and actioning
Activity Report - EOS daily
Yard Verification - Every Wednesday and last day of the month
Container Inventory Count report - EOS daily



General:
Acquire, retain and apply in-depth container and customer knowledge.
Perform additional duties which may be requested from superiors from time to time.
