POSITION PROFILE
As the Area Director of Managed Services, you will be responsible for leading the program for selling Managed IT Solutions in the greater California area. You will work alongside Account Executives to ensure our customers achieve their desired outcomes and maximize the value of our products and services. You will play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by developing and executing customer success strategies, fostering strong relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide deal support, strategy, recruitment and hiring assistance, coaching and technical expertise to the Managed Services sales team members.
- Craft and provide content for the Managed Services Resources Library on VEIT Intranet.
- Assist in hiring top talent to grow the managed services sales team.
- Work alongside the marketing team to increase the Managed Sales program presence.
- Assist Account Executives with increasing managed IT services sales.
- Train the sales staff to identify, understand, and execute on Managed Services sales opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Degree Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a consultative sales role, with at least 5 years of experience.
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience required.
- Industry experience of selling and leading Managed IT Solutions preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and success.
- Experience with CRM and sales productivity software required
