What You’ll Do

You’ll be the face of Mukuru—literally. This is a frontline role where you’ll assist customers with foreign exchange transactions, ensuring accuracy, speed, and top-tier service. You'll also help customers navigate the necessary documentation, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and protect our business from potential fraud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all customer documentation is valid and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and balance your own cash stock and transactions.
  • Uphold the Mukuru brand through every interaction—friendly, professional, trustworthy.
  • Keep up to date on foreign exchange trends, regulations, and our internal systems (ICFX).
  • Flag and report any suspicious or fraudulent documentation.
  • Own your personal growth—actively participating in training and upskilling opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
  • Completed Mukuru Forex Consultant training course (Advantageous)
  • Proven 1 year of customer service experience (Essential)
  • Prior experience with foreign exchange or financial services (Desirable)
  • Solid understanding of FICA and exchange control regulations
  • Confidence using systems such as ICFX
