The individual needs to be a motivated and self driven character who likes the challenge of developing new business and engaging with clients to sustain and develop new business opportunities. The individual needs to be willing to travel locally and spend some time away from home if and when required

Minimum Requirements

• A Minimum of a Matric Qualification
• A minimum of 2 - 5 Years of Sales experience, in the industrial, mining, petrochemical, manufacturing or utilities sector
• Experience in selling products/services to the industrial/manufacturing/mining/petrochemical or utilities markets, the preferred candidate must have experience in both cold calling and direct communication /presentation skills
• Presentation or public speaking skills
• PC literate with Microsoft Office /Excel

Duties & Responsibilities

• New Business Development and Sales for Products / services consulting and training and to expand Martec Sales within al market sectors
• Sales Strategy for specific market sectors where applicable
• Identification and contacting new and existing clients
• Scheduling meetings and cold calling related to Sales functions
• Submission of Quotes, tenders or RFQ's
• Customer relationship management including sales, debtors and client relationship management
• Sales administration and opportunity tracking
• Networking at Industry related events
• Scope Identification and design were applicable
