RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound Logistics Scheduling & Execution
Plan and manage the scheduling of inbound material deliveries to theplant in coordination with suppliers and transporters.
Align delivery schedules with production planning and demandforecasts.
Manage ESO to prevent disruptions in production.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely unloading, inspection,and system entry of goods.
Rebate Store & Compliance Management
Oversee the management of rebate stock, ensuring accuratedocumentation and usage.
Enforce compliance with audit, rebate policy, and plant regulatoryguidelines.
Liaise with finance, procurement, and audit teams to maintaininventory traceability
Claims & Countermeasure Implementation
Track R/1000 (Rejects per 1000 units) for inbound parts and materials.
Work with IO and quality teams to conduct root cause analysis andimplement preventative measures.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce supplier-relatedquality issues.
Quality Assurance & Final Line Checks
Lead quality assurance checks for inbound materials before they enter
production.
Manage final line quality inspections to prevent defective parts from
affecting assembly.
Ensure non-conformances are documented and addressed throughcorrective measures.
Special Supplier & Fitment Centre Management
Oversee special conversion suppliers and track modified/customizedcomponents.
Manage the interface between fitment centres and internal logisticsteams.
Ensure fitment outputs meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
Forecasting & Ordering
Forecast plant material requirements based on sales forecasts andproduction plans.
Coordinate with P&A and procurement teams to ensure timely andaccurate ordering.
Maintain inventory visibility and control to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Team Supervision & Reporting
Supervise logistics and quality personnel responsible for inbound andmiscellaneous components.
Develop and share dashboards and reports on:
Delivery lot adherence
Mismatch of lots into plant
R/1000 performance
Quality check results
Supplier delivery & quality performance
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Logistics, Suplly Chain, or Industrial Engineering
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experince in logistics or supply chain, preferably in Automotive or SKD operations
Experience with quality assurance and warehouse compliance
Strong understanding of inbound scheduling, inventory control, and supplier coordination
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of internal systems-Autocart
Multiple Supplier systems
Supplier invoice sign off
Support the Customer Service Team / Technical team
Resolution on escalated matters
Between 5 - 7 Years
