Entries Clerk (Electronic Bond Store)

Job Purpose

Bidvest International Logistics is a leading global transport and logistics company, whose partnership with EMO Trans, provides access to an international network of 250 offices in over 120 countries.

We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and highly experienced Entries Clerk with a good understanding of the Customs Act and assist various operational departments and Clients with technical queries.

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric

• Customs Affairs Course or equivalent

• Computer literacy, i.e: Microsoft office suite, operating systems that generate Customs Bills of Entries

• At least 4 years experience in Customs Entries technical environment

- 2 - 3 years of Electronic Bond Store management experience will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Frame all types of bill of Entries

• Auditing of files for compliance purposes

• Assist with QC of Entries when required

• Ensure no penalties received from SARS Customs; due to errors or non-compliance

• Process entries through Customs prior to vessel's ETA with no errors
