Develop and implement document control frameworks, procedures, and tools aligned with industry best practices.

Maintain accurate document registers and ensure compliance with client and ISO 9001 standards.

Control the flow and storage of project documents—ensuring the latest revisions are readily available to stakeholders.

Manage the transmittal of approved documentation to project teams, suppliers, and contractors.

Maintain and audit controlled documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.

Ensure consistent document numbering, version control, and status tracking.

Conduct internal and external document control audits and support training initiatives for teams and subcontractors.

Generate regular reports on document status, compliance, outstanding items, and quality issues.

Facilitate project close-out processes, including compiling and handing over As-Built documentation and data packs.

Support change control and ensure document traceability and retention policies are adhered to.

Identify and implement improvements in document control practices to increase efficiency and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in document control roles across projects in industries such as construction, energy, engineering, or transport.

Proven expertise in setting up and managing document control systems, procedures, and tools.

Proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.

In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, quality management systems, and project lifecycle documentation needs.

Familiarity with Project Quality Management Plans and compliance standards.

Strong knowledge of construction and project management documentation processes.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
