OVK Graan is op soek na dinamiese en ambisieuse gegradueerde kandidate om by die OVK Landbou familie aan te sluit.

Kern doel van die program (24 maande):

Effektiewe hantering van administratiewe, bemarking, verkryging en probleemoplossing take met betrekking tot die die Graan Afdeling.

Minimum Vereistes:

• ‘n Relevante kwalifikasie in Bemarking/ Landbou-ekonomie met Risikobestuur en Rekeningkunde, asook Bedryfsingenieurswese;
• SAFEX kwalifikasie sal ondersteunend tot aansoek wees;
• Belangstelling om in ‘n Landbou omgewing, spesifiek in Graan te werk.

Vaardighede:

• Goeie interpersoonlike en konflik hanteringsvaardighede;
• Sterk probleemoplossingsvaardighede;
• Syfervaardigheid, noukeurigheid en akkuraatheid is essensieel;
• Moet onafhanklik en onder druk kan funksioneer;
• Goeie organisasie en prioritiseringsvermoё;
• Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
• Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office) met sterk Excel vaardighede.

Verantwoordelikhede (Onderhewig aan verandering gebaseer op kwalifikasie en posprofiel):

• Bystand aan personeel t.o.v rekonsiliasies wat nie balanseer nie. (Ingesluit buitevoorraad, debiteure, krediteure, voorraad);
• Hantering van afwykings;
• Opstel van inkomstestaat ontledings en afwykingsverslae;
• Skakeling met interne en eksterne klante;
• Verseker volledigheid van aankoops- en verkoopskontrakte;
• SAFEX verhandelings en rekonsiliasies;
• Voorraad bevestigings;
• Implementering van oplossings om produktiwitet en werksaamhede by Silo’s te verbeter of te verhoog;
• Algemene administrasie.

Core purpose of the programme (24 months):

Effective handling of administration, marketing, procurement and problemsolving tasks with regard to the Grain Department.

Minimum requirements:

• A Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing/ Agricultural Economics with Risk Management and Accounting, as well as Industrial Engineering;
• SAFEX qualification will support application;
• An interest to work in an Agricultural environment, specifically Grain.

Skills:

• Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate ( MS Office), strong excel skills;
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Numeracy, accuracy and precision essential;
• Good interpersonal and conflict management skills;
• Must be able to function independently and under pressure;
• Good organisation and prioritisation ability.

Responsibilities (Subject to change depending on qualification and job description):

• Assist staff with regard to the reconciliations that do not balance (including inventory, receivables, payables);
• Dealing with deviations;
• Compilation of income statement analyzes and variance reports;
• Liaison with internal and external customers;
• Ensure completeness of purchases and sales contracts;
• SAFEX trading and reconciliations;
• Inventory confirmations;
• Implementation of measures to improve productivity and work procedures at Silo’s;
• General administration.
