RESPONSIBILITIES
Import & Export Operations
Oversee the complete Import and Export lifecycle, from origin to delivery.
Maintain a working knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and
international shipping laws.
Ensure compliance with importing and exporting country regulations, customs requirements, and internal SOPs.
Documentation Management
Prepare and verify all import and export clearing instructions, ensuring
documentation accuracy.
Verify and manage critical documents including: Bill of Entry, Packing List,
Commercial Invoice
Generate export documentation for vehicles and spare parts.
Inbound Shipment Tracking
Receive and track all inbound shipments, ensuring timely updates on ETA.
Keep an active ETA tracker in coordination with shipping lines and carriers.
Monitor Pre-Alert and Post-Alert processes for all import/export
shipments.
Customs Clearance & Compliance
Prepare and submit customs clearance documentation for all inbound
shipments.
Apply for inspection certificates where required.
Coordinate closely with customs brokers and internal teams for timely and
smooth clearance.
Freight Coordination
Book containers and arrange freight through nominated freight
forwarders.
Provide shipping instructions, arrange pick-ups, and confirm bookings with
carriers.
Maintain continuous communication with carriers to monitor progressand resolve issues.
Delay Management & Escalation
Proactively monitor clearance timelines and escalate:
Delays in document submission
Issues in customs clearance
Freight-related disruptions
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (logistics, finance, operations) tomitigate risks.
Inventory Control
Reconcile all imported CBU and SKD shipments with finance and stock
records.
Manage freight invoice verification and monthly freight statement review.
Support dealer queries related to imports and exports
Assist in month-end wholesale target deliveries by ensuring inbound flow
Reporting & Administration
Report on all imports and exports actioned during the current month.
Maintain accurate records for compliance audits and internal reviews.
Perform ad hoc administrative duties as required by the team.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years experience in import/export control, logistics, or international trade
Solid understanding of customs regulations, freight coordination, and inventory control
Proficient in documentation handling, shipment tracking, and financial reconciliation
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Internal System - Autocart.
Multiple Supplier system
Dealer communication and ensure the queries are closed timeously.
Support the Customer Service Team
Between 3 - 5 Years
