Access Controller Supervisor

Job Purpose:
To lead and supervise the Access Control team by ensuring strict access across all branches. The Access Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of procedures, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery to both internal and external clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) – essential
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in Access Control, CIT, or Security Operations
- Previous experience with CIT / Vehicle tracking systems – advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Fully computer literate
- Valid driver’s license and own transport – essential
- Strong leadership, administration, and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Analytical with strong attention to detail
- Able to understand and interpret tracking and access reports
- Assertive and capable of working well under pressure
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
Key Performance Areas (not totally inclusive):
- Supervise day-to-day activities of Access Controllers
- Monitor and verify internal and external deliveries and clearances
- Capturing of access requests within the stipulated timeframes as per access policy and procedures.
- Oversee system functionality and report hardware issues or system failures.
- Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures pertaining to FCS Access Control (SOPs)
- Liaise with CIT and Cash Processing Management regarding all potential deliveries and clearances.
- Compile and submit shift reports, incident logs, and audit findings
- Train and mentor new and existing Access Control staff
- Perform general administrative tasks and reporting
- Carry out instructions and directives from senior management
