Role purpose:

  • The most prominent responsibility of the Marketing Specialist is the coordinating and implementing innovative marketing campaigns for branding and product launches.
  • Responsibilities will involve collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals to drive effective strategies.
  • By extension, this responsibility extends to collaboration with the Social Media team and internal design/copywriting team as well, as in an acceleration unit, the two teams overlap each other distinctly and daily.


Key accountabilities ownership:

  • Conduct market research to identify customer requirements, habits, and trends
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities, demonstrating expertise in areas such as content development, optimization, advertising, and event planning.
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns using key metrics and present recommendations to management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders
  • Join social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics.
  • Monitor corporate website and social media pages, addressing business interests.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams.


Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools
  • Knowledge of SEO


Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.


Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a relevant field.
