Role purpose:
- The most prominent responsibility of the Marketing Specialist is the coordinating and implementing innovative marketing campaigns for branding and product launches.
- Responsibilities will involve collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals to drive effective strategies.
- By extension, this responsibility extends to collaboration with the Social Media team and internal design/copywriting team as well, as in an acceleration unit, the two teams overlap each other distinctly and daily.
- Conduct market research to identify customer requirements, habits, and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities, demonstrating expertise in areas such as content development, optimization, advertising, and event planning.
- Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns using key metrics and present recommendations to management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders
- Join social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics.
- Monitor corporate website and social media pages, addressing business interests.
- Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams.
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with web content management tools
- Knowledge of SEO
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a relevant field.
- Understanding Budgets
- Grasp the basics of budgeting in marketing. - Budget allocation, tracking, and optimization.
- Understand the concept of product value propositions. - Differentiate products in the market.
- Identify and analyse product value propositions for existing brands. - Compare and contrast different product positioning strategies.
- Explore brand identity components (logo, colors, tone). - Understand the importance of consistency in branding.
- Execute on a brand identity guideline
